Martin "Brooksy" Brooks is an enthusiastic, highly talented and hard-working DJ based in Harlow, Essex (UK), and despite DJ'ing for just under one year, he can regularly be seen playing across the UK. And played out in Ibiza in July 2009.
Brooksy is a very versatile DJ that always delivers a killer set - whether it be a progressive warm-up or a driving peak-time set and quite often delivers killer 6 hour sets!. Brooksy loves most styles of Dance music and covers everything from Progressive Chart Classics, Funky House, Oldskool right through to Uplifting and Melodic House and Electro, and also Hard Dance - all of which can be heard in his club sets every week at Libertys Harlow.
In Febuary 2009,Brooksy was confirmed as resident DJ for 'Libertys Harlow' in Essex. Throughout the duration of his residency,Brooksy has shown his versatility by playing some mamonth 6 hour sets, and regardless of what time he plays, he always recieves a good crowd reaction.
In June 2009 Brooksy was asked to play at pacha london, he was asked to play and electro and tech house set alongside some top djs you can find the flyer on the photos page, After impressing the crowd with his flawless mixing, great set building skills and superb tune selection, Brooksy was immediately invited to play over in Ibiza just 5 weeks later.
Besides DJing in clubs Brooksy is still kean to get experience under his belt and gets practice whenever he can, he still does many private parties too. Brooksy has always had a hunger for music from a very early age. He had a keen interest in music as early as the 1980's, and this continued throughout the 1990's, where he tried mixing using two tape decks! It was only in 2008, where a trip to Ibiza made himr determined to buy his first set of decks, where things really progressed for Brooksy - and he's never looked back since!
Now, his friendly nature, enthusiasm and determination to succeed looks set to make him a name to look out for in the future - particularly with 2009 being the most successful of his DJ'ing career so far! (well it's only the first year after all)
