Martin "Brooksy" Brooks is an enthusiastic, highly talented and hard-working DJ based in Hertfordshire (UK), and despite DJ'ing for just over one year, he can regularly be seen playing across the UK.
Brooksy is a very versatile DJ that always delivers a killer set - whether it be a progressive warm-up or a driving peak-time set and quite often delivers killer 6 hour sets!. Brooksy loves most styles of Dance music and covers everything from Progressive Chart Classics, Funky House, Oldskool right through to Uplifting and Melodic House and Electro, and also Hard Dance - all of which can be heard in his club sets every week at Libertys Harlow.
In February 2009,Brooksy was confirmed as resident DJ for 'Libertys Harlow' in Essex. Throughout the duration of his residency,Brooksy has shown his versatility by playing some mammoth 6 hour sets, and regardless of what time he plays, he always receives a good crowd reaction.
In June 2009 Brooksy was asked to play at pacha london, he was asked to play and electro and tech house set alongside some top djs. Nervous after only been playing for six months, DJ Brooky played a calm and collected set which gained lots of praise and recognition.
In April 2010 Brooksy & His Brother formed The Brooks Brothers with there unique connection and ability to read the crowd there were soon booked to play at Pacha London in the main room for an array of promotions. In July 2010 they were asked to play over In Ibiza. Ministry Of Sound was a place the boys dreamt of and in December 2010 they got to play in the bar and Main Room.
Brooksy has always had a hunger for music from a very early age. He had a keen interest in music as early as the mid 90's, and this continued throughout the 00's. It was only in 2008, where a trip to Ibiza made him determined to buy his first set of decks, where things really progressed for Brooksy - and he's never looked back since!
Still resident DJ of Libertys Nightclub Harlow, Brooksy has over 2 years experience in many fields, from Chart, Club Classics and Party Music to Deep Undergound Tech House, there is never a still body when he is playing.
Now, his friendly nature, enthusiasm and determination to succeed looks set to make him a name to look out for in the future - particularly with 2010 being the most successful of his DJ'ing career so far!
